The Art Kit
Chalk
1. CHALK
    Materials: White tempera Chalk Cardboard
Process: Cover cardboard with white tempera — Draw design into the tempera with chalk.
2. CHALK
    Materials: Chalk or Crayon
Process: Draw a familiar shape or object and expand its form.
3. CHALK
    Materials: Chalk Paper
Process: Put one chalk color on top of another, rub with finger to blend.
4. CHALK
    Materials: Chalk
    Black crayon
    White paper
    Pencil
Process: Fill paper with chalk, all colors, any arrangement. 
    Cover with black crayon — Place another sheet of paper on crayon and 
    chalk — Draw a design with pencil — press hard — Pull sheets 
    apart to show double image.

5. CHALK
    Materials: Chalk Water Glue
Process: Wet paper — Draw picture with chalk on wet paper or wet chalk and draw on dry paper.
6. CHALK
    Materials: Paper Chalk
    Table knife
    Pan of water
Process: Scrape chalk with knife — let flakes fall onto 
    the surface of the water — Lay sheet of paper down on the surface of 
    the water — Lift up — Dry flat.

7. CHALK
    Materials: Chalk
    White tempera White paper
    Process: Draw picture with chalk on one sheet of paper — Cover another 
    sheet with white tempera — Place the two sheets face to face, press, 
    and pull apart.
8. CHALK
    Materials: Chalk
    White paper
Process: Fill the page with chalk in depicting an event enjoyed by the class — Use dry or wet chalk method.
