1. MINIMAL ART
Materials: Wood Glue
Process: Construct a simple structure with the minimum of materials, glue in
place.
2. MOBILE
Materials: Construction paper
Fish line
Scissors
Glue
Process: Construct object from paper and hang with fish line to create a floating,
swinging motion.

3. MOSAIC
Materials: Scissors Glue
Cardboard Magazines
Process: Cut colored pictures into little pieces — Draw design —
Fill design with magazine pieces to create mosaic effect.
4. MOSAIC
Materials: Construction paper Glue
Scissors or Paper Cutter Plastic Bags
Process: Cut mosaic squares of every color; Store each color in a plastic bag;
give each child a small amount of each color; Glue pieces to paper.
5. MURAL
Materials: White paper Process: Staple background to bulletin
Art roll paper board — each child draws
Crayons something for the mural — Staple
Scissors in place on bulletin board.
6. MURAL
Materials: Paper from
art paper roll Any medium
Process: Divide class into five groups — Each group decides how to fill
their section of the mural — Groups can work on one long strip of paper
or on five different strips — Work on floor.

Process: Cut magazine picture in half — Draw or paint the missing half.
