Materials: Wood Nails Hammer
Process: Create design by placement of nails — High, low, and different
size heads.
14. SCULPTURE
Materials: Cardboard box Construction paper Scissors
Glue
Process: Each child designs a box — All boxes are assembled together.
15. SCULPTURE (Mixed Media)
Materials: Cardboard Glue
Scissors
Paper
Process: Using the cardboard as a base, construct a large scale scene.
16. SCULPTURE
Materials: Aluminum foil Glue Cardboard
Process: Pour glue on cardboard — Place foil over glue and shape around
glue.
17. SCULPTURE
Materials: Pipe cleaners
Process: Give each child pipe cleaners from which to create a sculpture.

Materials: Cardboard Construction paper Clear contact paper
Process: Construct box from cardboard, glue design variations on all sides
— Name or choice of word can be used.

Water
(Use equal amounts) 1/2 Pint milk carton Plastic bag
Table knife
Process: Mix water and plaster, let sit until solid enough to carve, keep moist
by storing in a plastic bag.
Materials: Corrugated cardboard Scissors Glue
Process: Cut cardboard into small strips, glue on end to make design.
21. SCULPTURE (Hand Puppet)
Materials: Construction paper Scissors Glue
Process: Fold and fit paper to hand — Glue to hold in place— Glue design on puppet.

Process: Construct design or scene in box.

Materials: Cardboard, Wood, or Paper
Glue
Scissors
Process: Glue cardboard on cardboard, wood on wood, or paper on paper to make
design and show layered effect.
24. SCULPTURE
Materials: Cardboard Glue Scissors
Process: Cut cardboard into small pieces, fit the pieces together by cutting
slots — Construct sculpture.
